Engagement of People

In this triangular communication between child to parent to employee, we will be directly engaging 500,000 people. This would result in a 10 fold increase in the outreach about the Car Free Thursday initiative through our social media platforms.

How can schools participate?

One Lakh Hands Project is to strengthen the Car Free Thursday campaign by reaching out to the employees who drive personal cars and motorbikes through One Lakh Handwritten Letters from school children. The need for children to be aware of the current environmental issues is crucial which can have a positive impact when people decide to take alternative commute at least a day in a week, and hopefully they cultivate the habit.

Dear Sir / Madam
I as a student requesting you to reduce the usage of cars and bikes because excessive usage of these vehicles release harmful gases which spoil our health and is also a major threat to the wildlife and if more vehicles are there on the road it causes trafic jams which is a time consuming thing and excessive vehicles are a threat to pedestrians and cause road accidents.
Our wish is to be sustainably developed and help make our city clean and grean.
The use of cars should significantly reduce. Pleple can start the concept of car pooling. Our wish is to be part of helping the future.
